Dave's Topic
We never quite know when trials & tragedies will knock on the door of our lives, but they will knock. God does not shield His children from trials. A lot of it doesn’t make much sense. But that is when God does His best work. James is a letter written precisely to encourage God’s children when the fog rolls in. It offers some of the answers as to why bad things happen to good people.

Greg Burgess

Greg Burgess has been in Christian ministry as a Pastor and Bible Teacher for over 20 years. Greg was the Pastor of the Moree Baptist Church in N.S.W. for 7 years before completing a Master of Theology degree at Dallas Theological Seminary. The family then moved to Adelaide where Greg taught at the Adelaide College of Ministries for 14 years and is now Lead Pastor at The Orchard, Te Puke.

Greg's Topic

The first five books of the Bible serve as a foundation for the rest of Scripture. If you’re unsure, unclear or misled about them, it will undermine your faith. Come & get a solid overview of Genesis through Deuteronomy & shore up your biblical foundations.

Geoff Smith

Geoff has been a church planter and pastor and trained at Dallas Theological Seminary. He has a deep passion for understanding the truth of the Bible and the message of the cross and works hard to communicate both with clarity. In 2005 he joined Long Story Short as the primary researcher and writer. Geoff travels extensively, teaching at conferences and training centres.

Geoff's Topic

“Conversations in Matthew”. These two live sessions are the first in an extended video series that will be available for your use. Geoff will be interviewed on selected sections from the Gospel of Matthew. Join us as we delve into this amazing Gospel & unveil Matthew’s magnificent portrait of Jesus. Be prepared to be excited & be thrilled all over again with the one we call Saviour.
